Divider
A divider creates a visual separation between groups of content.
Dividers do not contain data or actions. They help users understand where one section ends and another begins.
When to Use It
Use a divider when a screen needs clearer visual structure.
Dividers are helpful in long forms, dense detail views, or places where several related sections appear one after another. They can make a page easier to scan without introducing a larger layout element.
Avoid using too many dividers. If every small field group has a line, the screen can start to feel noisy.
What Can Be Configured
Position
A divider sits between other components.
- Place it where one section should clearly end
- Use it before a new group that needs visual emphasis
- Avoid placing dividers where spacing alone would be enough
Spacing
Dividers can have more or less space around them.
- Add space above a divider when the previous section needs room to breathe
- Add space below a divider when the next section should start clearly
- Keep spacing consistent across similar screens
